Listening as legacy
Conversations of a Lifetime exists to honor older voices—capturing stories and advice before they fade from living memory.
Across families and communities, elders carry irreplaceable knowledge: how they survived hard years, how they loved, how they built, and what they would tell the young if someone simply asked. Too often, those conversations never happen—or happen once, and vanish.
Our project sits down with elderly people, records with care, and shares what they wish the world to keep. The website you are reading is the public face of that archive: warm enough for remembrance, clear enough for discovery.
The individuals currently featured are placeholders so the site can take shape. As real recordings arrive, their pages will hold bios, excerpts, and advice in their own words.
